Here you will find some answers to our most commonly asked questions. Please feel free to contact us should you have more questions about our services.

Do you work weekends?

We do not, at the moment. Staff are available 8.30am- 6.30pm Monday to Friday

Can you take people out ?

All staff are insured to take people out in their cars but clients must be able to get in and out of a car independently

How do clients or their relatives know what has happened during a visit ?

We leave a Green communication folder with all clients and staff record details of their visit in this folder at the end of every visit.

How do we pay ?

Clients are invoiced weekly, 4 weekly or monthly depending on personal preference. Payment can be made by bank transfer/ cheque/ cash.

Can you check if someone has taken medication?

We can check if someone has take their medication and remind them to do so but cannot administer it.

Do you charge mileage?

We do not charge mileage for visits within a 3 mile radius of Shrewsbury but over 3 miles charges are incurred. We do charge for all trips with or on behalf of clients.

Do you wear a uniform ?

No, we all wear smart casual clothes.

How much notice do you require to cancel visits ?

We like as much notice as possible please but 24hrs is acceptable.

Do you do personal care ?

We do  not provide personal care and this means we are not able to help people with dressing, washing, bathing, taking tablets, application of creams.

Are staff permanent ?

All staff are on a  permanent contract so have paid holidays and pension contributions made. Staff are paid well above the minimum wage.
